Re: Screens from Capital Logistics
Outstanding! Congratulations! Your shots certainly deserve it.
Re: Screens from Capital Logistics
Haha. Thanks! That was a surprise. Not one of my best ones in my opinion.
Well, let's continue the story. And I want to start with remembering one of my oldest friends who unfortunately lost his life in an head on collision with a truck yesterday.
Leaving Lyon loaded with some very light weight bubbelwrapping heading home to Sweden and Karlskrona.
[ external image ]
After a couple of hours on the road i'm running out of hours. Time for some rest.
[ external image ]
Very early in the morning and time to hit the road again.
[ external image ]
There it is. There's the light in the tunnel.
[ external image ]
Making good progress.
[ external image ]
Climbing mountains. No problems as my load is mostly air.
[ external image ]
Passing a village. Time to stop for some sleep again.
[ external image ]
Nearing Rostock and the ferry over to Sweden.
[ external image ]
Swedish countryside. Passing some... Fans...
[ external image ]
And arriving.
[ external image ]
By noon the next day I'm in my coveralls and ready to haul this digger all the way to Selfoss in Iceland.
[ external image ]
Enjoying some beautiful scenery.
[ external image ]
Digging my way through the tunnel.
[ external image ]
On my way to the ferry over to Seyðisfjörður.
[ external image ]
Time for some really enjoyable driving.
[ external image ]
Sunset time!
[ external image ]
I must remember to keep my eyes on the road and not the natural beauty outside.
[ external image ]
Well, I guess this is as dark as it gets here.
[ external image ]
And now the sun is rising again. Time for some rest.
[ external image ]
Next afternoon and I've been on the road for a couple of hours again. Nearing my goal.
[ external image ]
And there it is. Unload and head up to the garage for some food and sleep. Tomorrow will be all about fun.
[ external image ]
7.30 the next morning and I'm on my way out to the wilderness in this monster AWD Volvo.
[ external image ]
The city limits is just behind my back and the scenery is already breathtaking.
[ external image ]
I found a CD in the stereo. Made in Sweden by E-type. Well, I guess it suits this truck. They were both made in Sweden in the same decade.
[ external image ]
Singing along with a big smile on my face.
"This, this is the way
This is the way I want to live
I'm going through changes
This is the way I want to live"
[ external image ]
Had to stop to enjoy the views a couple of times.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
Heading to lower altitudes.
[ external image ]
Allright. I know, I'm just having fun. Doing some drifting with an old AWD ex-military F16. That is fun!
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
Allright. It's getting late. Time to head back to the garage.
[ external image ]
Early the next morning and I'm in this Actros ready to be serious again.
[ external image ]
That's all for now.
