Re: Wishlists Megathread
Something I've noticed that misses from the game and I suggest it to be added should be:
Foggy weather.
Because why not? Trucks are equipped with fog lights too.

Re: Wishlists Megathread
I think that Heavy Cargo DLC need some minor changes. And I think that I can explain why, otherwise somebody may point at my mistakes.
Since the Goldhofer STZ-VL and STZ-VH 4-axle semi lowloaders look the same as 4-axle EuroHauler except logos, I think I can say that they're actually the same trailers. Accordingly to the brochure, they have 46t and 48t limits in fifth wheel and axles loads respectively, so if we take into account the tractor mass distribution, the ground pressure of both trailer and tractor rear wheels must be the same, I believe this is not in dependence of cargo weight. I made simple calculations which are based on 1,285 times difference in linear dimensions between 245/70 R17.5 and 315/70 R22.5 tires and obtained the load factor that is close to 1,65. Changes that I want to propose are build on it.
As a first, the 4-axle trailer in Quick Jobs must be completed only with 8x4 tractor independently of cargo weight, because only this chassis type is fully suitable for that weight distribution, with 5t tire load. There is opposite issue with 5-axle semitrailer. As I can see it, even if the cargo will be placed on the front half of a platform, the fifth wheel load will not be more than 31t, but if the freight is intended to be in the center, more likely that there will be 20t. I think that trucks with all chassis types but maybe only with 350+ kW engines and retarders may be available in Quick Jobs with these trailers.
The second is some cargo placement that seemed to be incorrect for me. As example we can consider the crane position. If the trailer have evenly distributed mass of 10t, its rear axles will be overloaded by the total weight of more than 48t, but in front the load will be insufficient to provide needed tractive force. It concerns the locomotive even more, and maybe concrete beams (also by now I don't understand why they as non-indivisible cargo can't be delivered by two or three common trucks. Is this only for fun?).

Brakes overheating/failure. It would be more realistic.
Many players don't know how to use engine brake and retarder. They don't find any reason to use it.

Re: Wishlists Megathread
because the truck uses Engine brake and retarder independent of the user
in new trucks the truck breaks for you with engine break and the retarder

Yes, I wish they would put foggy weather back in. I swear it used to be in the game back when it was new.[HUE]Anubis wrote:Foggy weather.

It was there. There were times when you would literally see oncoming traffic two seconds before you passed it. I wish I had taken screenshots.

Dont know if this has ever been mentioned.

With new Heavy Cargo DLC, we push our engines to the limit, using lowest gears, max rpm, torture them on long or high uphills, feed them with hundreds liters of diesel (I have 600liters per 100km on Actros 320hp engine) - but they as was on 90-95 degrees celcious - they stay there solid.
Maybe some overheat allitle? Also gearbox can overheat, and brackes.)

Re: Wishlists Megathread
Since this is a SIMULATOR, I would like to see some more real life action. For example:
- Make the yearly calendar (so you can track your company's traffic, money, employees etc. during time period),
- Within whole year you have some non-labour days (specific by country) when drivers can't drive on the roads, so they must stay put,
- Non-working on sundays (as IRL),
- Driver's limitations of working hours,
- 4 seasons during the year (different colours in environment),...
I hope that I'm not alone with this wishes, and that it wasn't been reported yet (didn't noticed). Should I make a theme with a poll?

What, you're just going to do nothing in game for several hours?KoperSLO wrote:- Within whole year you have some non-labour days (specific by country) when drivers can't drive on the roads, so they must stay put,
