Create an Australian Truck Simulator

Hi ETS2,

To the creators creating these games can you consider next time to create a Australian Truck Simulator please. I think it would be awesome to have as a game also.

I think it's better if SCS focuses on "Euro Truck Simulator 2" & "American Truck Simulator". A full new game sounds like too much work and ETS2 and ATS would suffer while this creation.

There is a map mod being built but it may take a while

We have 3 of the lower 48 states in ATS (thats 6.25%). I would rather have more states than development being slowed down by Australian Truck Sim.

Australia is one, massive island, and I'm sure there are dedicated modders out there willing to fill in SCS' shoes, but who knows.

No offense but seriously, I think entire climate / environment of Australia can be actually made with assets placed just 3 released states of ATS

No offence taken, but that's as general as saying you can make Turkey from Polish assets as at least part of Turkey is in the same continent, or you can make Spain from UK assets. While I agree that much of Australia is desert, the whole eastern third of the country (where the vast majority of the population lives), top end, Tasmania etc are vastly different from California, Arizona and Nevada. The deserts in Australia are very different from US deserts too (saying all deserts are the same is like saying all forests and cities are the same).

But of course, if you count the northern states, including Canada and Alaska, they can be pretty variable, but that's just my opinion.

I think I can make Turkey, pretty much with California + France

You probably could for part of Turkey, as some of all three countries share the same climate. I would guess however that the interior and Black Sea coast would again be different enough to warrant no assets to reflect the different climate.
