I have my doubts we will ever see double trailers in ETS2 for the simple fact that quite some of the yards and some roads simply aren't big enough to operate doubles.

Changing this would have meant to completely build the map from scratch and not reuse GTS/UKTS maps and we'd have a map with a lot less cities than we have right now. SCS never published a game with more than ~20 new cities and this is what we see in ETS2 too: GTS+UKTS+20 new cities = ETS2.

no no! This picture was taken from newS and the game is called 18 WoS Haulin'

I can't see why they don't use rigids like tippers, standard box or fridges with a drag trailer ie wagon and drag as they are used though out europe as they have a higher cube capacity. The map should just be able to sqeeze those in.

In 18 wos haulin. there were double trailers from the begining so. for example a swedish 25,25 meters truck and trailers was:

The truck was the truck ofc. then 1 trailer were the dolly, and the other one were the long trailer.
