Issues using ETS2 with Cheat Engine

Hi all,

Been an ETS2 player for several years. I have known about the Cheat Engine XP/Money hack for some time now. Haven't played ETS2 in ages then suddenly my old profile had issues (freezing) so went to create a new profile. Once I did a few jobs, used Cheat Engine to up my XP and money so I can get a truck to use in ETS2MP. However once I go into ETS2MP and buy a garage somewhere, if I then use the ferry, tunnel or any form of menu, the game will freeze and I can only exit the game by the Task Manager. I have tried this whilst signed into WoT and whilst signed out to no luck. No mods installed, just a clean game. Have freshly re-installed the game several times to but still no luck. The game.log doesn't suggest anything wrong (bar a few missing items but I suspect that's ETS2MP related).

Any suggestions as to what the issue might be? Is it Cheat Engine or ETS2MP?
