Traffic Spawn Distance bug / reset of spawn AI vehicules bug

Hi all,

I'm french and my English is not good.

Simply, please watch my video of the bug:

My game is:

- with no mods
- with no tweaks
- fresh install (steam verifying game cache)
- X64 launched

My Config is:

- I7 920 oc 3.8ghz
- 12go of RAM
- GTX 970 oc
- Win7 x64

In french forums, a lot of users say me to report my bug here.

I've this bug since 2012 when the game was released.
I"ve "deserted" the game for 3 years. (I was back for promods 2.0).

TY all if you have a solution.

I think that my CPU is the principal cause.

Anyone play with an I7 920?

Ty about help.

My own tests (in order):

- test without mods
- test without tweaks (Reshade and Sweet FX)
- test in fresh install (steam verifying game cache only)
- test in X64
- test in X32
- test with DirectX forcing
- test with Open GL forcing
- test in safe mode forcing
- test with GPU downgraded
- test with CPU downgraded
- test with settings high
- test with settings low
- test in windowed mode
- test with 1024x768 résolution
- test without Fraps
- test without MSI Afterburner
- test with MSI Afterburner and GTX boosted

The setting when i search in game is "Drew distance", but i think that doesn't exist. :(

I'm so disappointed because with good tweaks and mods. This game is finally very pleasant to play.

Log looks clean. 2 observations, though I don't say any of it has any meaning:
  • These lines are found:

    Code: Select all

    00:00:00.149 : exec /home/config.cfg
    00:00:00.149 : [sys] Failed to execute (/home/config.cfg), the file does not exist.
    "/home/config.cfg" is identical to the "config.cfg" in your personal game folder. This file should be auto-created and ever-present. Did you delete it before the run of the game the this log is from?
  • What is this?

    Code: Select all

    00:00:00.780 : [gfx] Video memory by DXGI: 2048MB
    00:00:00.780 : [gfx] Considered entries:
    00:00:00.780 :   Generic >300MB
    Some people have these lines in the log, too, Google tells me. But I use exactly the same graphics-driver than you and don't remember to have witnessed it ever. Are you using any special add-ons for graphics? Just an idea.
In other words, no idea and cannot help you. My system is much weaker, I look around constantly (TrackIR), and I haven't noticed such problem ever.

Yes, i has deleted the folder in my documents before launched the game.
Now i've "00:00:00.246 : [sys] Executing /home/config.cfg ..."/

No add-ons graphics. I'm with 358.50 drivers with my GTX 970.
For information, i had already the bug with 470 and 670 graphic cards.

Ok, i understand. The issue is a new CPU i think.

I'm victim an incompatibility between my microprocessor and only this game. I'm very unlucky. :(

I'm with same problem in my game! But, this problem appeared after last updates (I don't remember which exactly)! Before, the traffic flowed normally in the all intersections! But now, the problem showing in the video appears very often, bothering a lot!! My computer has not undergone any change, in relation to the time that traffic was regular!!

My SPECS:

Intel I5 3570K OC;
16 GB RAM;
Gigabyte GTX970 OC Factory;
Windows 7 64 bits;
Game running at 64 bits.

There is a topic in the area of bugs 1.22, where is mentioned this problem!! Look this link:

I hope this problem will be solved soon, because that is bothering a lot!!!
