if you are talking about this setting, http://www.squirrel.tv/forums/index.php?topic=1348.0 i use this one too, i have now ~5 FPS less.

Yup, I was talking about those profiles, but personally I didn't notice any frame loss comparing to 400% scale...Anyway, are you on 1.27 patch, dear RudiRaser? If so, do you have any problems using NVIDIA inspector?

What you basically do is 4x4 means 400% scale plus 4x4 AA drops performance on top of that. That's why nVidia has problems, you might notice some lighting / bloom boosts that is unnatural or unseen signs

Eitherway, in current situation 400% gives more performance than 4x4SGSS profiles, I tried a lot of variations but none of them didn't satisfy me on "performance vs. loss fps" value. So back to 400 with no MLAA

Yep the same here: 400 with no MLAA gives me stabil 55-60fps..

@bumbumek

yes, 1.27. no problems at all. but i´m not sure, it seems that antileasing not working that well like before. (1.26) means, looks for me that i have now more jaggies.

i will try once again with 400% scale ingame. but till 1.26 with this Inspector setting i had my best results ever. (GTX 980Ti + I7 4790k)

With 400% scale, MLAA on, and without inspector setting I see jaggies in the distance + flickering textures (bridges, fences etc). With this inspector I got it all really smooth.

I wonder, will we ever see such performance from SCS's games by default? I doubt it. SCS seem not to see these technical problems.

just did some kilometers with 400% ingame, MLAA off.
seems it´s better then before. (1.26) but this Inspector setting eliminate anti leasing still much better.

with my oldish GTX 960 I prefer to keep 150% scale and all other settings at maximum (or almost maximum) in order to keep 50-60 fps in large cities. I tested 400% and MLAA disabled and get only 30-40 fps, and probably much less in France. nevertheless, if you guys recommend a better combination for sharper image with reasonable fps, I am free to try using of course the in house system resources :D
