Nvidia graphic card issue with 1.27 BETA version
Re: Nvidia graphic card issue with 1.27 BETA version
thanks! indeed lowering the mirror settings I get constant 60 fps which allow to increase the scale to 200% for a sharper image overall.
Re: Nvidia graphic card issue with 1.27 BETA version
From version 1.27 I got shimmering and jaggie lines and I tried every aliasing setting and scaling but non works, even with sweetfx I still have shimmering and jaggies. Oh yeah there was one inspector aliasing setting to remove those jaggies and shimmering, but everything is blurring even the dashboard.
I been tying to solved it for one week now and nothing seems to work, with or without inspector or sweeftfx, those jaggie lines and shimmering wont disappear

Yup, mirrors are the food for FPS-drops. If you have big problems, try to remove front mirror too (if you use a truck with that option)SiSL wrote:For best performance I recommend reducing Mirror resolution to lower setting

My Inspector settings work as smooth with 1.27 as with any other game-version before. Maybe you forgot to re-apply the Inspector profile settings after a driver-update? Happens to me, from time to time. Or better say so often that I'm not concerned anymore when I see heavy aliasing. I immediately know what happened, and what to do.Leen wrote:with or without inspector or sweeftfx, those jaggie lines and shimmering wont disappear

I really don't forgot to re-apply the Inspector profile settings, I try one more thing and go back to version 1.26 and see what happen.
Btw I use opentrack and freetrack with the pointracker and a PS eye cam, without it you can see jaggie lines but if I use the homemade track IR all those lines are moving. For example the crash barriers where you see on top of them flickering lines even so for the lampposts, where you can see those lines moving up and down.

i second abasstreppas and sisl, in addition to that turning down the reflections also help alot on frames, i have set on low and reflections are still very good.

Is your scaling on 100% in game still ? If not anti aliasing won't work with nvidia inspector.
GTX 1080 o'cd, i5 6600k 4.4 ghz, 16gb ddr4 2666mhz, nvme drive, windows 10, windows 7 and linux mint 19, nvidia 3d vison, Edtracker pro.
If its not in 3d stereoscopic, I'm not playing it !

On scaling 100% it's worser but I had a HP 1680x1050 resolution screen, now I have a 1920x1080 resolution by LG and no more troubles with antialiasing on 300% scaling with the inspector.

I think that's a different of anti aliasing you're trying ? Is it supersampling you're using ?Leen wrote:On scaling 100% it's worser but I had a HP 1680x1050 resolution screen, now I have a 1920x1080 resolution by LG and no more troubles with antialiasing on 300% scaling with the inspector.
I'm using sparce grid super sampling 4x with compatibility bit 0x084012C1 and -1.00 lod bias. This ONLY works with 100% scaling set in the game. In inspector anti aliasing is set to override the game, multisampling is set to x4 and transparency to x4 sparce grid supersampling.
I've tried pretty much every combination of anti aliasing and this one is the best I've found on my rig. Absolutely no jaggies or shimmering and dead sharp with this compatibility bit. I'm playing in nvidia 3d and I can only go as high as 1080p, so can't use higher resolutions.

I did use the setting you mention with the old monitor of me and tried it on 100% scaling but it became worser, now with my new monitor I will try it again today and see what happens, thanks
