Wheels Force Feedback in GNU/Linux don't work

#1 Post by leillo1975 » 18 Apr 2017 09:10

I love ETS2 (and ATS, of course), and I also love playing on Linux. But as most of the users of this system know, the support is not at all good. There are problems with Radio Online (does not exist: viewtopic.php?f=119&t=117955 ), Steam Controller full support ( viewtopic.php?f=119&t=193069 ) , and with Force Feedback in Wheels.

I have a Logitech Driving Force GT, and is a bit annoying to play this game without FF. The wheel works perfect, with 900º range, pedals, buttons...; but, you can't feel the road and this is a Simulator. I know that Force Feedback in Linux is possible, I have GRID Autosport, F1 2015 and DIRT Rally , and they works perfect with this feature.

It would be very grateful if you had in consideration the Linux users. I know a lot of them and I know that they play your game often, and this issue is commented a lot of times. I write articles in a Spanish Linux Gaming Web ( http://www.jugandoenlinux.com ) and we receipt a lot of gaming feedback in our Telegram group ( https://t.me/jugandoenlinux ).

SCS, can you take a bit of your time to fix this problem? Linux community will be grateful

Yes please!
We Linux users need to play ETS/ATS the way its meant to be played, with full support. Please devs, make it happen!

Hello everybody

Two days ago was released a new driver that activates a lot of new effects on Logitech Wheels. With this driver is not necessary to use this plugin to get Force Feedback. You can find more info here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/c ... r_for_our/

With it you feel more more effects when you drive
