FPS Counter

#1 Post by sykesit » 24 May 2017 18:17

Hi I have ETS2 latest version through Steam.

But I have an FPS counter in the top left corner with RAM, temp etc on it and can't find were it is coming from.

It only seems to appear in ETS 2 nor ATS.

I have checked steam and the option is off and can't find any setting anywhere else that has this option.

Can anyone help.

Thanks

Look in the config.cfg file in your main ETS2 Docs folder for the following lines. They most likely will not be next to each other.

uset g_minicon "1"
uset g_fps "1"

Change them to:

uset g_minicon "0"
uset g_fps "0"

If you don't know where the ETS2 Docs folder is, and you have Windows, look in one of these locations:

Windows XP:
C:\My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\config.cfg

Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10:
C:\Users\**Your User Name**\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\config.cfg

If that isn't the right thing to do, you'll have to wait for someone else to assist you. That's the only thing I can think of... Sorry.

Good luck!

Hi Thanks I have sorted it.

Checked Steam, GForce Experience and nothing.

But I have CAM software for my NZXT Kraken AIO cooler that for some reason when you update keeps turning on FPS counter.

Thanks for the help.
