[3.6.0] Mobile Route Advisor (Telemetry Web Server Skin)

#1 Post by mkoch227 » 16 Mar 2015 15:01

The Mobile Route Advisor does not support version 4.0.0 of the Telemetry Server.

Latest Version: 3.6.0 - Released December 31 2018 This requires version 3.2.3 to 3.2.5 of the ETS2 Telemetry Server!

I've been working on a skin for Funbit's ETS2 Telemetry Web Server that takes advantage of the ETS2 Telemetry SDK. This skin looks close to ETS2 / ATS' actual "route advisor" on the bottom of the screen when driving. This way, you can use your mobile device to display the route advisor instead of having it on the monitor itself. If you would like to give it a try, or see what features are supported, you can download it by going to http://www.mikekoch.me/ets2-mobile-route-advisor, and clicking on the large yellow button. Consult the ETS2 Telemetry Web Server's documentation on how to install the skin.

Feedback is welcome!

Quite a nice skin - has all the extra info you need (given the current restraints) and is really clear.
Never argue with idiots. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Nice and clean skin. I got a question. How to change name of "source" for other language? I translated everything except this one. Thanks for help.

Version 1.0.1 moved "Source" to the language JSON file, so if you haven't updated yet, that would be the problem you're having. Update to 1.0.1 and then see what happens.

Hmm, I can't reproduce the "Failed to load dashboard.html for skin" message. Double-check that the folder name in your skins folder is "mobile-route-advisor" (case-sensitive). Your skins folder should look similar to this:

As for showing tons instead of kg: I'll add that in as an option in the next release. ;)

Mobile Route Advisor has been updated to 1.0.2

Changes:
  • Added Polish (pl-PL) translation (thanks raflix261)
  • Added config setting to toggle between kilograms and tons for trailer mass
  • Confirmed support for ETS2 Telemetry Web Server 2.2.6
You can download the update at https://github.com/mkoch227/ets2-mobile ... r/releases and then clicking on "v1.0.2.zip".

About polish translate, my proposition to update [because no translated]:

Code: Select all

"NavigationUnavailable": "Nawigacja nie jest w tej chwili dostępna - przepraszamy!"
Rest of them:

Code: Select all

"Deadline": "Termin:",
"CargoName": "Ładunek:",
"MobileRouteAdvisor": "Mobilna nawigacja",
For last [ MobileRouteAdvisor ] actually there are no words in polish dictionary to get "good alternative" to make sense so my proposal is just delete [ use: "" ] instead translate.

[edit @ 2015-04-11, 15:20]: In game for Mobile Route Advisor translation in pl is: "Doradca drogowy".
I'm sorry for my BAD gramma english - if I made mistake, please write to me (PM) what correction form should it be; help me learn language instead using 'troll-mode-on'. Thanks!
