Peterbilt 389 Missing DEF Tank [30980]

#1 Post by TruckerKid » 15 Mar 2017 06:15

I've been debating whether or not to report this for a while, I was mostly hoping SCS was aware of the issue and would fix it. Anyway, the Peterbilt 389 model that is represented does not have a DEF tank, despite having a DEF gauge in the interior.

It has been reported ever since the 389 was out, but I guess SCS has other priorities :?

Thanks ;)

It's a 2008-2010 EPA07 model with a DPF

5.3 mpg proves my theory correct

@Jarrad So would the real bug be the gauge in the interior? Did the '08 - '10 models have a gauge for DPF? Kinda strange though, I thought the models SCS were representing were supposed to be the current production range (except for the W900 strangely enough as it seems to be a pre-2007 model with its shape of exhausts and absence of DEF tank/gauge as well).

Edit: After searching google for 389's with DPF, the model in-game would still not be correct as the DPF would also be missing (at least I think). From the images I was able to find on google, the DPF appears to be located directly behind the battery boxes.
