heavy haul dlc
heavy haul dlc
the heavy haul dlc is nice but i have my worries of the long trailers being
:how are you going to reverse it to deliver it
:how are you going to manage the h style exits in california
:dealing with turning in city with dumb ai drivers
:quarry deliverys
pros
:hopefully we get double trailers cause of the pivot points in the heavy haul lowboys

Re: heavy haul dlc
All those questions are asked by real drivers at some point in their career I would imagine.
Practice, skill, and patience is the answer.

As far as I'm concerned, the more worries, the more challenge, the more fun!
Really really really looking forward to driving these around.
And yes, really hoping for multiple pivot points... modding community would go crazy with that

Re: heavy haul dlc
Here's the thing though, IF multiple pivot points were a thing, would it be base game or part of the DLC?
If you remember back to the launch of cabin accessories in ETS2 the physics were part of the DLC originally, so that people who didn't own it couldn't use it. They could have mods with content, but no movement/physics.
I would think that if multiple pivots ever does happen, they would probably do the same again so that mods only work if you also own the DLCs.

Re: heavy haul dlc
I think they will add multiple pivot points in the base game, too many people asked for this already, and it would anger them if it got locked behind a paywall
Re: heavy haul dlc
How about tri-axles trucks for ATS,are we gona get them with this DLC?
Re: heavy haul dlc
I love the fact that SCS is listening to the community and is developing multiple pivot points. It also makes playing MP more appealing because there is more to do than just running the stock trucks and loads. I love doing heavy haul, but I also like the MP atmosphere and right now I'm basically forced to pick between MP and single player. Hopefully we can now have both. I think the only thing missing at this point is warning lights (beacons, flashers, what ever you call them). SCS said they were adding the pivot points because of the different US regulations from Europe. One of those regulations is having warning lights for over size loads. I hope this part is not over looked since there isn't any beacons or light bars currently offered in single player, just another thing to use mods for.
All in all, I'm excited and hope it comes sooner than later!

Re: heavy haul dlc
Thinking about it,this update will turn the main roads in MP impossible to drive,it`s already hard with basic box trailers, now with oversize loads,ETS2MP will be a total cluster

Re: heavy haul dlc
That's assuming MP guys allow oversized trailers.

Re: heavy haul dlc
That is, if MP devs will be able to get the DLC to work. You have to remember that some MP users won't buy the DLC, From what I understand with ETS2 trailer DLC's in MP it was easy. They replaced DLC trailers with non-DLC ones. (so the users without the DLC see them as normal trailers). It may be hard (or even impossible) for long multi-pivot trailers in ATS.
The smallest details always make the biggest difference.
