@Edwin: is it okay if I send it to you via PM?
I thought that plugin depended on telemetry. Is that working in Linux now?

I'm definitely interested though.

Re: SCS Blog discussion

I spotted the potential multiple articulation points as well. That's probably going to create a big "finally" response.

Re: SCS Blog discussion

Obviously, being in Birmingham/Solihull means that SCS is buying all beta testers a new Jaguar. So congrats!

[Linux] Vertical refresh detected incorrectly

Actually, that's not correct. VSYNC on/off apparently makes no difference below the monitors refresh rate. It only matters when you go above the monitors refresh rate and whether you prefer the lower latency or prevent tearing. On topic: I was digging through the logs and have been testing a whole b...

Re: VSYNC not working on refresh rates above 60 Hz

The behaviour of the various setting with regard to G-SYNC is a bit confusion, so I suggest you Google it. Anyway, this post was not about G-SYNC. That just put me on the trail of the VSYNC problem. Which makes the entire respose by JESAN completely pointless. You could add to the report to see what...

[Linux] Vertical refresh detected incorrectly

I recently purchased a new monitor with 100 Hz/G-SYNC and naturally tried to run ETS2 on it, but things failed. I'm running ETS2 on Linux/OpenGL, but a quick search around the forum suggests that this problem is not limited to that. Running G-SYNC requires VSYNC to be turned on in the game. Doing so...

Ah the 29. I think I've only driven there once, so no surprise I couldn't recognise it.

Re: Rotterdam Map on 1:1 Scale (W.I.P.)

Most of the pictures I can place instantly. Last one is a little more difficult. If I'd have to guess, where the A15 merges into the A16. Although you'd be a lane short there.

Re: LInux (Ubuntu 15.04) Crashes Black Screen

There may be some issues with X, ETS2 must be doing something odd when changing to fullscreen. I was testing mods today. And when ETS2 crashes, the system won't change the screen resolution back to where it was. In fact, changing resolutions does not work correctly anymore after that and you have to...
