Colors in def are 0-1.0 instead of 0-255. They also might be in linear color space, so you'd need to convert it to gamma corrected color space.

Here's how it works. There is a difference between reflective and retroreflective.

Reflective won't work anyway, you need retroreflective to send all the light back to the source, not scatter it everywhere.

Or you can simply (in the .sii itself or the .sui)

No need for soundrefs and whatnot.

They are now more strict with proper texture formatting (grayscale, no alpha, made with Conversion Tools).

Alpha is used to encode specular so if you change it in any way, it also changes how the specular behaves.

Default distance was in def files, but was removed. Now it's all handled in editor and only way to change it is to load the map in editor, change the values and save the map.
