You have purchased the bar itself, now you have to buy the lamps to go on it. Go back to the workshop, click the little round placement tag and all the positions to which you can fit lamps ect will show up. The list of items you can fit will be in the menu to the left.

I just like to while away the odd hour or two, listen to my favourite radio station and wind down after a long day of...driving trucks in the real world...crazy eh?
