Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Well perhaps the DX12 argument for the r_device command could be taken out or made ineffective in the “public” EB builds so people wouldn’t be able to try the feature?

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
@notfge I believe it’s more about the idea than about something that already exists

Re: [REL] RPM - Rheinland & Pfalz 1:1 Map
I wonder if copying controls.sii over from a profile where everything is working might help. Provided you want to use the same controls and their configuration.

Re: ETS2 1.50 Update Experimental Beta discussion
I have to agree with notfge's observations. I often have to wait at a crossing until all cross traffic has ceased, because blinker lights are just not visible, even in twilight. On the other hand, AI rear lights become larger and brighter when they pull away from me so the next LOD stage comes into ...

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
Well the games have these three types, fully manual, AMT and torque converter. The first two are okay in-game, TC is a fake using the clutch in a clever way. At least I have no hint that there is a proper fluid dynamics simulation behind it. I’ve even given links to the appropriate formulas before, ...

Re: German Cities Rework Discussion (Post-Austria)
Alright, if you replace “east” by “west” of Köln, your idea makes sense. East of Köln I was only aware of bituminous coal mines which were shut down a few years ago. Well, do we have the space for such a large mine? They dwarf most surface mines we’ve already got in the games. Let’s see how smart th...

Bugs like the one(s) with the transmissions are not mentioned in changelogs before they are fixed

Re: German Cities Rework Discussion (Post-Austria)
There are no active underground coal mines left in that area, and all remaining surface mines are in other areas of Germany. There are a number of mining museums, some with the huge headframe still in place. I doubt they’re attractive enough to SCS for them to cram them into the already tight space....

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
Well morrelo’s point is that while quick job trucks are not new they are perfectly serviced so there will be no brake squeal. (Unless you extend that job until 10% wheel wear is reached ) So this sounds pretty straightforward to me. I’m okay with it so far… it’s not the end of the beta either. ...

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
Dang guys come on! Why would they remove it if it wasn’t for a reason? They announced it, you’ll have it back when it’s the time. Or what if a bug sneaked in and that’s why it stopped working?
