Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
Well the games have these three types, fully manual, AMT and torque converter. The first two are okay in-game, TC is a fake using the clutch in a clever way. At least I have no hint that there is a proper fluid dynamics simulation behind it. I’ve even given links to the appropriate formulas before, ...

Re: German Cities Rework Discussion (Post-Austria)
Alright, if you replace “east” by “west” of Köln, your idea makes sense. East of Köln I was only aware of bituminous coal mines which were shut down a few years ago. Well, do we have the space for such a large mine? They dwarf most surface mines we’ve already got in the games. Let’s see how smart th...

Re: German Cities Rework Discussion (Post-Austria)
There are no active underground coal mines left in that area, and all remaining surface mines are in other areas of Germany. There are a number of mining museums, some with the huge headframe still in place. I doubt they’re attractive enough to SCS for them to cram them into the already tight space....

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
Well morrelo’s point is that while quick job trucks are not new they are perfectly serviced so there will be no brake squeal. (Unless you extend that job until 10% wheel wear is reached ) So this sounds pretty straightforward to me. I’m okay with it so far… it’s not the end of the beta either. ...

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
Dang guys come on! Why would they remove it if it wasn’t for a reason? They announced it, you’ll have it back when it’s the time. Or what if a bug sneaked in and that’s why it stopped working?

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I think patch notes aren’t published in the update thread during an experimental beta, this may change once it becomes the fully open beta. I could be wrong though.

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
notfge, I don’t know the tolerance settings by heart but it’s the lowest value because ACC uses the same tolerance. Gearbox doesn’t matter. Simply take the strongest available engine. Don’t just turn back on CC but use the resume function at a speed that is at least slightly below target speed. Driv...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Why not? All gas stations that are not individual but are often used prefabs can be changed just once, as long as nothing obstructs access to the chargers. Size may be a criterion too.

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
No, lol, not a ridiculously overpowered truck. Just a stock engine. Also it’s more pronounced in ETS2 where there are stronger engines and I believe the trucks are lighter? But (A)CC is used in both games.
