Re: Help on TOBJEditor.
Don't use random 3rd party tools. Write a text .tobj and use official conversion tools from SCS for converting to binary. I decided to use a TGA instead of DDS. Only to clarify, TOBJEditor wasn't a random 3rd party tool during the ancient times of modding (before Blender Tools became a complete set...

Help on TOBJEditor.
Hi, I'm trying to do some modding after more than 5 years of being far from it. Now I'm trying to modify a copy of a TOBJ file, but TOBJEditor forces a prefix that I don't write before saving. This is what is happening: Before saving, I write this image path: /vehicle/truck/upgrade/bibendum/textures...

Non-monotonic remaining time. [NOT A BUG]
Hi, Version: latest beta, but it happens since the first versions of ETS2. Reproducible: Yes, every trip. MODs: Don't seems to be related to mods. Apparently, it would belong to the engine. As far as I understand, "remaining time" refers to the time remaining before you surpass the max all...

Re: Low-quality paintjob. [NOT A BUG]
It is weird because only one of the lines looks so bad, the rest of lines of the paintjob look pretty much better.

Low-quality paintjob. [NOT A BUG]
Hi,
I'm using the Cruise Liner paintjob for my new trucks, but it looks low-quality in the front and the sides. Here some examples: https://imgur.com/a/3jpzM9w .
I hope you can fix it.
Thank you, regards.

Re: Washington discussion
Hi mates, Our mate flight50 said that I twisted his words, so I'll use my right to reply. Don't worry, I hope it'll be my last off-topic post here. Post #591 09 Mar 2019 16:36 People don't realize that mods have to satisfy the few that use them. I see lots of players using mods, not only in screensh...

Re: Washington discussion
Yes, I should have said that everything "is prepared" for mods, you are right. In the software world if a given software is prepared to deal with a given feature, it is common to say that the software "supports" that feature. As the engine is prepared to include mods, I meant tha...

Re: Washington discussion
Ok, but the games allow mods to be create since many years ago, and SCS has always helped modders. Obviously that they do not officially support a given mod as such, but they allow the existence of mods and help modders, and everything is prepared for that.

Re: Interstate System
Moderators, I apologize for posting twice, but there is a key point about teleporting that I think demands further analysis. I'll try to avoid posting twice again. the likely best option that already exists from a game play point of view is to use the Rail Export docks as trains between unconnected ...

Re: Washington discussion
Ditto LuisaA. Some people think these games are made for mods vs mods are made for games. FYI, SCS is what it is now because of themselves and of modders. When ETS2 was a simple map (boring after many trips), many (MANY!) players stayed because they enjoyed map mods (and other mods) a lot. I think ...
