At the top of the controls screen there should be a list of the connected hardware. Probably steering wheel, mouse, and anything else connected. It should also list the shifter. Is it listed?

I still drive hshift in all of my trucks in both games. Do not want auto.

There are so many errors and warnings it is hard to tell. You may have to get rid of all of your mods, and load a clean profile then add one mod at a time.

Is switch mode turned on?

My understanding is yes a higher spec truck does improve their ability to get jobs done.
