Re: Issues with new lowbed and lowloader trailers

I hope SCS WONT FIX this - those of you who know the details of cargo limitations per country are capable to select the right trailer, the rest (and I believe majority by far) want just to play without being confused "why the hell I cant use this trailer, its big enough for the cargo". Personally I ...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Its easy - the later some area is created, the better quality it will be. If you disagree, do some trucking in Going east to refresh your memories...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Why are you worrying about 8x6/4, when WS clearly shown 10x4 in their release video? :) Devs just need time to update the code to support 3 steering axles on a truck...

Re: Iberia Discussion

I would also expect some blog on expansion of VlF - really doubt that the southwest France will be part of Iberia DLC.

Re: Poll: Which area should SCS add to ETS2 after Iberia?

Updating basegame to still-improving mapping standard of DLCs is close to impossible. New players wont buy DLCs if they got disappointed by basegame and current players dont have such a playing-lifespan to keep playing game they loved 10 years ago (getting older, starting families, working and stuff...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

From the etology point of view, the stationary "pray bird" paints are useful only on temporary installations. Birds are not dumb and quickly learn that the "suspicious shape" is not moving and isnt dangerous at all. So any transparent stuff is a problem, good is just toned PMMA - people can arrange ...

Re: ETS2 1.39 Speculation Thread

I really hope that SCS will rather spent time on gameplay, than changing few centimeters that only top-level nitpickers notice.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Iberia is going to be massive, and it's potentially a huge seller. I'd be surprised if it wasn't all hands on deck for that one, especially considering the corona situation. We'll probably see them going back to the rework once Iberia is out. I fully agree that Iberia might be quite successful DLC,...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Good to see SCS got the balls to do DLC-required event (like Genoa should have been). We have got so many free cookies from SCS (some even marketable!), that buying for the full price shall be no moral issue. Other thing is the timing - IMHO much better solution would be "how many deliveries to/from...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Well, I do not believe in ECS being a DLC for ETS2. Why? Because the very mechanic is too different. ECS wont use trailer ownership, ADR/fragile/expensive levels, different cargoes ECS will need multipoint deliveries Map DLCs may be shared between ETS2 and ECS, so no need to create/buy them twice - ...
