Re: [REL] ATS Mountain Reworks (Includes reworks of Denver, Mt. Rainier, Shasta County, Mt. Hood, Salt Lake City)
I just came across this work for the first time. Hood and Ranier look good based on the original post, however the Front Range around Denver is definitely better in SCS' version which keeps me from downloading this, and I would suggest reverting this piece. It sounds like it's broken currently anywa...

Re: How to reduce/eliminate police traffic
Thanks for the lead, but I'm not having any luck finding the root folder that's in, and a file search yielded no results. I did a search for that file name on the forum and I see what to change once I'm there. Actually, I did find that file, but only in some Steam Workshop folders that I do not have...

How to reduce/eliminate police traffic
One of the frequent complaints going back to when this game first launched was the over-the-top frequency of police traffic. This many years later it still hasn't been addressed. I have come to a point that I have had enough of seeing a police car every third vehicle, so much so that I am making a p...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
So, I am currently in Garden of the Gods. When they said it was going to be a bit of a hidden road (it is signed), I wasn't expecting them to put the main formations (Kissing Camels, Balanced Rock, etc.) in along with the whole loop drive. Rather impressive and unexpected. Sadly, as other videos hav...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Well, this looks just about like home. They nailed the skyline and the DIA approach looks fantastic. Hopefully the capitol building will make an appearance. And since I was out on a fall color trip, I missed their 550 video a couple weeks back and just now saw it. Ouray to Red Mountain Pass looks pe...

Re: Idaho Discussion Thread
Regarding the language SCS used in the latest blog post, I chalk that up to them being foreign to the US and not fully polished in English. That first picture they posted is at the following location between Moore and Mackay, my favorite town in Idaho, mainly for its location to all of the great mou...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
There is no ambiguity about what the Western Slope is, and it does not start at Vail. It is everything west of the divide, therefore it starts above the tunnel. It simply refers to the direction of the watershed. Come on now, ALT2870!

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Independence Pass/CO-82 has a 35-foot length restriction, so that and Aspen will not be in. Box trucks can do it, and semis have, but cause major traffic jams in the few 1.5-lane sections on the west side, thus not legally permitted.
