if you had other hdd .you can test it in you pc . if it then still occure maybe videocard . do you have an other pc ? because with software it isn't 100% does you pc make weird sounds if you play games on internet like fb . does the fan of you grapic card spin ? look if you power the pc if there is ...

do you have lag in other games then ats en est2 ? did you tried a new install of est2 whithout importing profile ? or ats does other games that you don't need steam have lag ? maybe reinstall steam and est2 and ats ? and maybe check game log of your profile at mohegan pc and same profile on you pc ?...

that is right. some stutters are from grapics . like grass or stones . i had the same problem in the past. i also had a hdd. i was looking hard and long for it .
