I'm curious why this one SCS forum link is restricted I've always assumed that the message you receive is simply misleading and that the thread has been removed or locked. I seem to remember that the clue is in the error messages you get when the save fails, but the directory you need to create is base_map not base

Purely from memory I'd say that Otel Impecabil in the Black Sea DLC area has at least one pick up point that is indoors, and indeed you have to squeeze past the trailer to hook up. Can't think of any others off the top of my head though.

The saved games are always encrypted whether they are text format or not (the increase in size indicates that the parameter has had an effect - I use a value of 3 and the text version is about 70% larger than the binary).
