Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

Yeah, rental cars would also have the red on white fleet plates. I don't think SCS would give us that much detail since we don't have the occasional out of state plate randomly generated. With Oregon truck plates being different colors, I was kind of hoping Colorado would have the red on white GVW p...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

Wow... got home late today and missed a lot of news.

On those license plates it looks like they gave trucks the same ones as passenger cars. Technically the truck plates should be red on white. Not the end of the world though... only Coloradoans who look at license plates would notice.

Re: Texas Discussion Thread

OK, I stand corrected. Beaumont/Port Arthur/Orange is in. I must have looked at the map scale wrong because I was thinking there was only about 20 miles between Houston and Beaumont, also about 20 miles between Beaumont and Lake Charles. This will teach me to post something in a hurry when I'm suppo...

Re: Texas Discussion Thread

Looking at the map, I'm even thinking that Beaumont/Port Arthur/Orange could be at risk of not making ATS. Maybe Beaumont as scenic or gas station only. There's probably enough room to squeeze something in there, but right across the LA border is Lake Charles. I think Lake Charles makes it as it wou...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

I was thinking Boise City as it's farthest west and looks to be a big intersection of highways. If not Boise City, maybe Guymon becomes the farthest west city in Oklahoma, DLC or would that be too close to Liberal, KS? I'm thinking SCS would want to give us some kind of business reason to go to the ...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

Eastern Colorado has the opportunity to have a lot of diversity. Areas next to rivers have water for irrigation and you get a lot of farms. Areas away from water are mostly ranch land for cattle. Windmills and oil/natural gas facilities are also sprinkled around. Additionally there are small towns t...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

It will be interesting to see what they do with US-385. I think Colorado gets it as it's a major north-south route through the eastern edge of the state. North of I-76 I think it disappears until Sidney, NE as there's no need for it with I-76 and I-80. For western Nebraska I think US-385 has a good ...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

@Shiva Maybe we get Julesburg as a scenic town if we get the I-76/US-385 junction.

Re: Which ats city should be reworked?

If reworking roads, I would like a lot of California roads to be replaced with the ones that have the raised reflectors that are so common to that state. ATS has some of this now in Washington DLC, but only a very few places in CA. We don't really have these in Colorado so it's one of the things I r...

Re: Which ats city should be reworked?

Speaking of CA, I just remembered that I really want the US-101/I-580 interchange redone. In real life you exit US-101 to go to I-580. In ATS you have to exit US-101 to continue on US-101. (speaking for southbound traffic)
