Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
It's 350 miles long. Anyhow my point was that we have several complete interstates.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Is Wyoming semi-arid in places? Yes. They have a bit of a desert in the south central portion of the state. Basically that empty area just north of I-80 from Rock Springs to Rawlins. https://www.google.com/maps/@42.132253,-107.4259662,3a,75y,78.82h,77.28t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1s6H67O6GnegYuThveUnLE7w!...

Re: 'Hauling Hope' event glitched in ATS?
I started in Colorado and only got one job there at the Denver airport. Later on I found lots of these jobs at the port in San Francisco. Maybe try there?Paranoimia wrote: ↑24 Jan 2021 02:47That said, I have now moved to two other states, and am still not getting any event jobs. Seems I'll have to do this event in ETS2.

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
I found something on YouTube today that you all might like. Someone took your research into the Wyoming locations and made a video comparing SCS's screenshots to pictures of the real thing. I didn't see anyone else post this, so if this is not something that's ok to link to please let me know and I'...

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
In reality though, would we really get coal? Would they just put a NAMIQ along WY-59? I know coal cars are a thing for trains, but from a trucking point of view is there anything really different for cargo going to/from a coal mine versus a different type of mine? I imagine that there will be some s...

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
There are other things I would prefer in ATS over a reworked Pikes Peak, but I think it would look a lot better if they gave it the same treatment as those mountains they've shown us from their Wyoming work in progress. Here's Pikes Peak in game just west of I-25 versus a link to google streetview f...

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
Wyoming is a perfect opportunity to improve the mountains around Salt Lake City. They have to build I-80 climbing the mountains east towards Evanston, so why not just do a touch up for Utah DLC at the same time?

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread
I just inspected cities that he supposedly worked on, they're kind of impressive so it makes sense why he's a map DLC leader now. Agreed, Idaho Falls is just spectacular. However, in this case I would speculate that just being a great map designer might not be the key reason for being promoted to D...
