I have experienced that bug too. It is strange that they chose to change some thing that really didn't need to be changed at all.

If the mat files are all the same as the rest of the model, It's more than likely the alpha channel in the texture file is too white. Open the texture in Photoshop or whatever image editor you have, and check to see if the alpha channel is the same as the other textures for the cabin.
