Re: Refreshed models of vanilla trucks
I wouldn't mind that - as long as they let us know it's in the pipeline.

Re: Refreshed models of vanilla trucks
If you want a more accurate model, that will almost always result in more polys/faces, especially on any curved parts. Not necessarily. If the shape is fundamentally similar but out of proportion, it could be as easy as simply extending/contracting existing vertices. For instance: the current 579 n...

Re: Refreshed models of vanilla trucks
I honestly disagree. I imagine that all of the models could definitely be improved. However, will those improvements be worth the performance hit they create (as you already noted in mentioning Viper's model). There are also far worse trucks in ETS2 by what I hear, which apparently makes ATS' model...

Refreshed models of vanilla trucks
I hope someday in the near future that you, SCS, will consider making more accurate models of the base trucks (579, 389, W900 in particular). The 579 is the one in the biggest need of a more accurate body model, although the W900 only being available in a long-wheelbase model and the 389 being so su...

Re: [1.35] Kenworth K100-E
Listen - over the past couple of weeks I've switched trucks on my profile about a dozen times. I've always - ALWAYS - come back to my K100E (I spent a week with XBS' Autocar because I love his mods and the DC64 is an amazing truck, but I'm not a huge fan of pre-1970s vintage rigs for my daily driver...

Re: [1.35] Kenworth K100-E
Anyone else have this problem? Ran into the entrance to the CAT scales at a VERY low speed. Then it happened. Couldn't do ANYTHING except go backwards. Lost the delivery due to my negligence. This has happened to me. Solution is to shift to neutral, put on the air brakes, rev it a bit, then put it ...

Re: [REL] Fontaine Phantom 48'x102" [1.0.7 09/10/2018]
Can't wait for an ownable version of this trailer - it's consistently been my favorite flatbed for ATS. As a suggestion for maneuverability in-game - I watch a lot of SuperTruckerDan's videos on YouTube and he's got a Fontaine spread-axle flatbed with a modified rear axle that dumps its airbag press...

DOT-required signage, stickers on vanilla trucks
To preface this, I am a big fan of many of the custom skin mods for ATS/ETS, and I admit I spend a lot more time than I care to admit creating skins myself. But I'm wondering whether it'd be feasible or desired to add basic US DOT-required signage onto the vanilla trucks to add a bit more realism fo...

Re: So, what's our end-game?
You're absolutely right, Axel. When I reached level 30, and had garages and a fleet and many drivers of decent skill, I had a bit of a crisis. I love this game, but the challenge was erased (hence my wish for a money sponge as we discussed in another thread). The problem is that the game doesn't ha...
