Re: Las Vegas thread

To clarify my last post: the only thing about Vegas that bothers me is the borderline-nonexistent signage. I'm perfectly fine with the city itself; it's honestly better than what I expected. But the ATS team surely knows how important signage is at this point; releasing the city without proper signa...

Re: ATS 1.39 Open Beta Discussion

My favorite offense is when the game fines me for being too sleepy while I'm in the rest stop trying to park. Double points if I'm only still driving because it's a rest stop that's very finicky about where you're allowed to park.

Yes, game, I noticed.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

I don't know why this is surprising to some people. Yes, it is unfortunate that SCS has once again chosen to avoid the Balkans. But consider the current shape of the ETS2 map, and how it can expand in the future. There are a few possible candidates left in the west (the Balkans, northern Fennoscandi...

Re: Las Vegas thread

Vegas is part of why I'm so pessimistic about unfinished content lately to be honest. I've reached the point where I devcam to Vegas every update just to disappoint myself.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

It releases when it's ready to be released. ALSO the people demanding they want such and such now are also the first ones to complain about the price of said dlc and the first to tear a product apart at initial launch because it didn't measure up the hype that they themselves built it up to be. Not...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

I doubt that they're going to add much more Iberia stuff to 1.39. Colorado had more stuff in 1.38 than Iberia has in 1.39, and its presence in 1.39 all but confirms that it's going to be out within the next 4-8 weeks. This isn't the impression I get from Iberia at all. Unless SCS has suddenly decide...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

If the launcher was for coaches, why would they start ATS, which there has been no demand for coaches with it instead of going where coaches have a demand with ets2. This is for something else be it multi-player or a new version of wotr. 1. So the launcher would be the same as ETS2's, for consisten...

Re: "to pave the way for future additions; which will introduce new features to our games"...

I'm hoping this means they're finally approaching WoT being something other than an event item dispenser (or that it's going to at least get better at doing that.) Our long-term vision is to create a complex new meta-game on top of the existing game with online gameplay, rich economy, RPG elements, ...

Re: ATS 1.39 Open Beta Discussion

So it looks like NAMIQ actually replaced some of the existing Coastline Mining prefabs because there's NAMIQ delivery points in the existing states where Coastline Mining used to be. They show as NAMIQ on the map, and I assume they might have NAMIQ trailers (since I saw one parked there), but they ...
