Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Nice to see the VNL finally making an appearance. Too bad it took its sweet time and I've since moved on to other games. Nevertheless, if and when the cargo system is revamped and I do get back into playing ETS2 and ATS again, I'm sure it'll be the first truck I take out for a spin.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Is there a way to turn these bumps off? I haven't looked at the detailed settings yet. This is the first time in 35 years of gaming that I'm experiencing motion sickness. Also, did they mess around with sound leveling again? Something feels off.

I made a couple deliveries and I like it. I'm not a rivet counter, so if there are any inaccuracies still, they don't bother me so long as the overall shape is more or less on point. Very impressed with the only thing that I really care about - the dashboard. The subtle red underglow is a fantastic ...

Awesome, it really looks great. Any plans of expanding this further in the future, or will this be a one-off?

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I hope it's not one of my mods interfering and the speedometer and rev indicators do have a slight reflective red glow to them at night. If this is SCS by design, I hope it's a first step to the entire cluster having a nighttime reflective glow.

So what you're saying is we're not getting a Pete rework unless Germany invades Poland?

Re: Are you satisfied with the direction in which the game is developing
You can have a hardcore sim on consoles, there's no reason why we couldn't. Again - there's another game that does just that and provides both advanced and simplified gameplay, depending on user preference. It's all down to the developer.

Re: Are you satisfied with the direction in which the game is developing
To answer the original question - no. As for optional features - Farming Simulator has been doing that for a while now. You can play with all the annoyances that make farming a chore, or you can turn nearly all of them off and just plant and harvest every 15 minutes if that happens to be your prefer...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Isn't the problem with Iveco that they had a bit of an ownership kerfuffle and an ensuing de-merger, which was completed in early 2022? SCS made no official comment on the matter, but I assume that work on/with Iveco may have stalled during the changeover.
