Re: Have you ever lost interest in a game?
It's normal to get tired of playing a particular video game- video game specific forums like this one may give off the impression that most gamers are fascinated with playing a single video game ad-nausea, but the reality is that most people who play video games play more than one. Most (hopefully) ...

Re: Should SCS to do things that their community asks for?
I've attached a series of screenshots from people responding to a single SCS software post asking what features players want in the game. Look at the number of responses, and then look at the number of likes per response. Those of us that want to walk are by no means alone. With all due respect, yo...

Re: Should SCS to do things that their community asks for?
Because with the amount of work that has to be done with a limited amount of resources, SCS should focus on what is important. A "walking-around" gameplay which has nothing to do with the trucking simulator aspect of gameplay is a waste of time and resources. You mention the dev cam- it al...

Re: Should SCS to do things that their community asks for?
To answer the original question, some points are legitimate: missing roads can be filled, and gameplay can be improved. But no, some requests like adding a "walk around in the world" game functionality would seem like a waste of resources more than anything. SCS can definitely improve, but...

Re: Economy Overhaul?
I'm sorry, but you're just asking for far too much. This game is meant to be relaxing, and considering improving anything you've mentioned above is just gonna put me on anxiety medication. With all due respect, your comment is perfectly legitimate, but if you end up not playing a game anymore...

Re: Utah Discussion Thread
The problem with the state of Utah is that gameplay-wise, it is very much a "transit state"- you go through the state in order to access other states by way of Interstates 15, 70 & 80. As the game's map size continues to expand, this problem will continue to grow. Is the solution reall...

Re: Economy Overhaul?
The game's biggest downfall for me has always been the economic gameplay; anyone here who thinks that making company management in ATS complex would be too complicated for casual players of the game, don't understand that there have been thousands of games which have shown the capability to balance ...

Re: why scs software doesn't care about graphics in game?
Yeah, good points. For company management, I'd point to Farming Sim. While not the greatest game, I as a player have way more power over the look of my farm, my equipment, what people working with me can do, and so on. Maybe there is no way to "beat the game," but I'd feel way more succes...

Re: why scs software doesn't care about graphics in game?
But when "beating" the game/building a successful company is as simple as just playing, there's a lot of room to look around for things to improve. the problem though is that it's hard to do it with a game like this: simulations are meant to simulate the experience of the activity which y...
