Re: [REL] ProMods v2.51

As it has been already explained after your post (https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=1479755#p1479755) by plykkegaard, the UK map is from UKTS (United Kingdom Truck Simulator) and is in 1:15 scale. The rest of ETS2 is in 1:19 scale. So, essentially, until SCS ever decides to redo the UK, that...

Re: How did you came up with your username?

GT182 , I thought it was the car in your avatar...but looking closer, it looks more like an old Plymouth Barracuda, circa 1969ish??? Hard to guess with such a small photo. :D Growing up, my Dad had a souped-up 1969 Plymouth RoadRunner! Miss the old days of the rumbling big block motors...not like t...

Re: [REL] Road to Aral - A Great Steppe Addon v1.3 Final

Vinnie Terranova Here is what I use...it's a hybrid of the ProMods Eurasia map for my liking. Everything seems to work (so far)...the only thing I see is a break in the road in the SZM mod (near Lodeynoye Pole). Supposedly, the author has been notified and a fix is in the works. I don't want certai...

Re: [REL] Road to Aral - A Great Steppe Addon v1.3 Final

Vinnie Terranova , take out the road connection for RusMap (RusMap-add_on__Ershov_2.2.1-TGS_1.38.1_roadconnection.scs) as it conflicts with the new TGS for 1.39. The connection to RusMap is included along with Ershov in the new version of TGS. Also, you don't need the license plate fix anymore eith...

Re: Frametime/stutter issues with ownable trailers?

Hi Tom just to update...I've been busy over the holidays, so I haven't tested much. Today, one of your own moderators, supersobes reopened an old thread where he had grief and did extensive testing on this problem, chasing a lot of geese (Wild Goose Chase). There are logs, tests, graphs, suggestions...

Re: Unrealistic AI Traffic

True, but still doesn’t change the fact that the AI system needs a bit of a revamp. I don’t mind a couple of bonehead moves from the AI, but using your own words, when you can “predict” their bonehead moves, maybe those bonehead moves should be looked at and fixed...as in reduced by 90%. You can’t e...

Re: Web app - Euro Truck Simulator 2 dashboards

I would help out testing it, but I don't know how to get the beta to work. Github is a nice repository, but I'm not a programmer, so it's a very confusing place. Your link brings us to your page, but the only release I can see is 1.4.4. Github is way beyond what I'm familiar with, so I can't help yo...

Re: Unrealistic AI Traffic

@RoxyQuarry , but that turns off all the police fines (speeding, avoid sleep, wrong way, etc). My way only eliminates the fine for accidents. I still get the "ding" when an AI hits me, and the police lights still flash if they're around, but the message reads $0 for the fine.

Re: Wishlists Megathread

@RoxyQuarry...lol...no, my friend!

I just updated all my Jazzy traffic yesterday (about 12 files total) and was muttering about having to click each entry for what felt like a hundred times to get it in the right place on the mod list. Your idea would solve it!
