Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread

Going back to previous conversation on the wind in Wyoming... the wind is real! I tried to drive through the state on I-80 about a week ago and the one time I failed to look at the roads and weather for Wyoming prior to driving away from home, the freeway was shut down due to wind gusts of 70 MPH an...

Re: ATS 1.39 Discussion

flight50 and busted85 . I, and am sure along with many others, were hoping so... Maybe with Wyoming we see some change. I'm still hoping along with a change in size of mountains that I-80 and I-84 heading east into said mountains from I-15 show some sense of elevation change as well. There's a sign...

Re: ATS 1.39 Speculation Thread

Everyone interprets text differently. I for one was leaning towards "very shortly" after the 29th. The statements in the blog are quoted as follows: With great honor and pleasure, we can now announce that very shortly after The NEXT Western Star® truck releases, we will herald its arrival to America...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

While traveling several years back I came across a wind turbine blade standing on end Located in a rest stop along I-80 between Casey, IA and Adair, IA for visitors to see. It was an interesting experience standing next to it and taking note to how truly big they are. I add it here for scale referen...

@Casper10, that will be a very nice feature! I always felt restricted with the current camera, panning around and zooming. The flexibility of walking around will help to better see the detail and tuning options of the truck.

Re: ATS teasers - entry at your own risk (danger of insomnia, anxiety etc.)

Maybe it has something to do with what Howey said. Utah is a major touristic location. This is due to the skiing in the north along with the state and national parks throughout the state. In total their are 13 sites managed by the National Park Services which include 5 National Parks. There are also...

Re: Utah Discussion Thread

I've had a chance over the weekend to drive through UT a bit more and got my bee! I was pleased with the scenery and grading of the route following hwys 189 from Park City south to 40 and east to vernal on 191. I truly felt like I was in the mountains and it was a great feeling! As I've had a chance...

Re: Utah Discussion Thread

There really isn't much, city wise to Utah. Though there are some smaller cities that are scenic that could have been incorporated as discoverable cities/towns given there isn't much around them. But truthfully much of the density that's been said before is in the northern part around SLC. Comparing...

Re: Utah Discussion Thread

The transition was very well done. They truly did a marvelous job! I just can't get past how good those rocks are in the southern half! Robinicus Is there room to plop Albuquerque's airport in SLC? I know they've got a lot going on in the city. But I haven't popped into the dev cam to have a look see.
