Re: My take on a new, improved paint job system

Yes of course, SCS has to keep away for "official" inappropriate content on their games and the trucks itself (and not just by their relationship with truck brands). But I was talking about they have not to be concerned about those things regarding external content and it's not a problem from the pe...

Re: real vehicle lights

I don't know why it hasn't been done already, but I hope ETS2 is technically capable of making artificial light sources more realistic. Because the graphic engine came from a way old DX9 implementation that wasn't capable of so much regarding light sources. And even now we have DX11, it will take t...

Re: Eurocoach Simulator/ DLC?

There already is more content and streets and places to go on lots of cities that the one we can drive now with the truck (unless you remove the XXXX barriers). Not a whole city or downtown, the scale doesn't fit for those purposes, but they have margin to increase the reachable places without havin...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Then, they could be using it just as a placeholder or because they will reuse the building. It had happened before, it's not the ideal but it's not so bad (so many industrial buildings look the same, wherever you look at them) Thanks anyway for the info, IvanKuz . Regards PS: Yes, there's Lidl super...

Re: My take on a new, improved paint job system

Kudos if only for the work involved in creating all that post. And in general, I'm very agree with your proposal too. Just a few comments on the parts I opine differently. Most people will agree that most paints aren’t quite useful, realistic or esthetically up to date. Moreover, choices are slim. I...

Re: Common SCS Forum Abbreviations

There's the Italian equivalent S.r.l that we can see (at least) on the S.A.L.S.R.L forestry company in Italy DLC. And in Iberia LDC we probably will see something equivalent in the form of S.A. (and maybe we could even see some S.L.). Those are the acronyms for "Sociedad Anónima" and "Sociedad Limit...

Re: AI Traffic - Improve - Realistic

No, IA behavior responsibility is for the game code alone, that can't be tweaked with mods. And the actual IA is limited by the constrain of available CPU power for the game (their almost mono-core architecture). So, I don't expect big improvements until they can't go to multi-core. Anyway, I could ...

Re: Iberia Discussion

It has been time ago that they use fake plates during development and in the screenshots they share. In fact, for the Spanish screenshots trailers also lack the second plate (their own plate) mandatory in Spain. They should still be working on that (somebody on the vehicles department is hating Iber...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Very nice pictures they are nailing the atmosphere, as usual. I'm sure I will really feel at home driving on it. :)

And the pictures came with some company teasers too: the fuel company (1.44€/l for diesel, ouch!) and the other (bon + something else) that looks like a supermarket.
