Just FYI truck and bus traffic (over 7,5 tons) is not allowed to cross the bridge (unless they have delivery on Pelješac peninsula). Yes but truck and bus traffic (>7,5t) is not allowed on the bridge, at least not for the moment. It is unknown when they will let heavy vehicles on the bridge and bypass road over Pelješac peninsula. Possibly when the newly built bypass road is finnished later this year.

Actually this detour road will be only 2 lanes (one in each direction) with the possibility of upgrade to 4 lanes. Amazing looking Austria is finally getting what it deserves! Rebuild from scratch is paying off and hopefully SCS continues the same with Switzerland, Benelux and then a long awaited UK.
