Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Max recently explained it: These trucks got AI vehicles from the beginning, because they were new *brands*. With a new brand, you need new dealerships. With new dealerships, you need parked trucks of this brand, outside. That means you need AI trucks. SCS prefers it to create AI models later, when ...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

How come ATS trucks always release With AI countrrpart at once but ets2 trucks has to wait Years to get their AI counterpart? In the case of ATS it was no different until i believe the Anthem (or was it WS49X :? ) so this is only a relatively new approach from SCS. Remember the last truck (Renault ...

Re: Texas Discussion Thread

The actual two teams could be expected they are already working on 2 usual "small" map DLCS for next year (Montana and Wyoming, for example). And, once the first of them released at mid-2021, they could start with Texas for half a year, the second team join them once released the second DLC next ye...

AlexxxF1 But that's exactly what flight mentioned in his last sentence directly above your post. The more the country is mapped the more the number of players will increase. ;) Regarding Texas i agree with you completely, this highly anticipated monster DLC will boost popularity for sure. Half the ...

Re: ATS 1.40 Speculation Thread

It also looks as if they finally addressed the AA issues as well? I am still excited to see what rolls out on 1.39, seeing as the blog post says big things are still coming. Temporal Aliasing, the issue that many describe as "flickering/shimmering", occurs when the scene is in motion. So you can no...

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

... probably it will affect too weather mods, "realistic light" mods and all that kind of stuff When looking at the pictures at least the latter kind of mods is then not really needed anymore anyway, at least its popularity will decrease strongly i can imagine. Weather mods could have a similar fat...

Re: Texas Discussion Thread

@IamTheOne Texas needing Oklahoma and Kansas, for the flow? I disagree. Colville, WA - Port Arthur TX. Fastest via Montana . 2271miles. 34hours, with car. Slower, avoiding Montana 2414miles. 36hours, with car. Both routes need Wyoming tho. Avoiding Wyoming and Montana . 2389miles. 36hours with car....

Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next

Texas is being worked on, but it is another team that is possibly the third team that they started forming it last year. The two teams (Which is the Jakub team and the Patrik team) are the two main teams working and developing the states that we are receiving. The third team was created to work in ...

I vote in Montana as the second 2021 state! Realistically, I see Montana as the second 2021 state and Texas sometime in 2022.
Marcello, what do you mean with "realistically"? How would you interpret the hints that Pavel had made during the Idaho release stream?
