Re: The much nicer engine sounds of the Kenworth W900 + a question for you
If the Cascadia sounds as good as you guys are saying, that's a good sign. It suggests SCS are getting better at sound design. I really am happy with the Kenworth W900 though. IDK how realistic the sound is, but it's the kind of sound I want from an old-school, styled American truck.

Re: Rail improvements for ATS
If this was added, I would soooo want to be able to have the option of staying with the train, in real-time, for the entire journey. It would be really satisfying for me.Kirmes-Truck wrote: ↑31 Jan 2021 08:24Did somebody write the idea to allow trucks to be loaded on a trailer train?

The much nicer engine sounds of the Kenworth W900 + a question for you
Until now I've been driving the Peterbilt 389. It's a nice truck but the engine sounds weren't that satisfying for me. I tried a few engines and they were all a bit dull. Just for fun I bought a Kenworth W900 with a Paccar MX-13 455 (455hp) engine. Now that sounds good! I can't believe I've been mis...

Re: Rail improvements for ATS
flight50: I love your ideas in your comment where you posted those pics. I like a lot of ideas that make ATS a bit more grungy & earthy.

Re: ATS Appreciation
I appreciate the f**k out of SCS working on making a co-op, multiplayer mode!
I already have 1 Steam Friend tell me that he's now definitely interested in buying this game to do co-op trucking with me. He wasn't interested in the game for just the single-player experience.

Re: Rail improvements for ATS
- Currently trains are able to brake extremely quickly and unrealistically. I saw an NPC vehicle get stuck on a track and the train stopped like it was a sports car. I'd much rather it slowly came to a stop and if it hits the car, so be it. - I'm not sure, but it seems like the g_traffic variable al...

Re: Bigfoot
+1
I also asked for bigfoot and some others creatures:

I think they would make the game feel more alive.

Idea to improve the move-truck-to-home-garage-on-game-update mechanic
There is a game feature which cancels my active job and moves my truck to my home garage when there is a game update. I find this jolting. It brakes my flow. I currently use the workaround of marking my position in the bugs.txt file before I quit each game so I can at least quickly get back to where...
