Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Back on aerodynamics. It's not about speeding quickly or achieving a great top speed but saving fuel. Fuel economy and stability are important enough to invest on aerodynamics.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

I was thinking about EA the other day and how outdated their in-game news feed is in most of their games (and so have been for ages). Luckily that doesnt't happen to SCS tittles.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread

Yep, old components do not devaluate as quick as they should. Regarding those online communities, you don't need to get to Latin America to see old gears, look in your own country and you'll find some culturally diverse districts with a worrying lack of computers. Where I work, 1 out of 20 students ...

Re: Iberia Discussion

About dumpers, you don't need to deliver all 3 different parts to the same destination, so you are not actually delivering A dumper but every dumper part that may or may not belong to up to 3 dumpers. Notice that the important word is "different", different component. Once you succeded delivering wi...

Wind Turbine deliveries as Special Transport

Hey guys, I was overseeing Iberian ports on Google Maps and I found some pretty interesting satellite locations that may have some relation with the renewable energies post of Iberia. 2 links from Portugal and 2 from Spain. Are these wind turbine blades? This is Aveiro, south of Porto. There seem to...

Re: american truck simulator more enjoyable then ETS

Those tiny roundabouts are supposed to simplify priority rules on any intersection by turning them into a first to arrive, first to cross basis. The problem is when they connect 2 or more of those, that's a devilish invention, add to that the fact that they drive on the opposite lane :o

Re: american truck simulator more enjoyable then ETS

I think the worst roundabouts I've ever seen are on UK soil, they can get infamously tiny. Luckily drivers in the UK are generally easy going. https://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/wiki/images/7/75/Tiny_mini_roundabout_1_-_Coppermine_-_4700.JPG In Spain we have our fair share of roundabout aberrations, in ...

Stay away from Milton Keynes if you don't like roundabouts.

There are websites devoted to find the ugliest roundabout of them all, people submits photos from their cities in search of the biggest aberration.
