Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next

So, Flight, I wasn't familiar with what services/frontage roads were, but I looked them up, and we actually have that along one of the two interstates in my city. I never really had a name for them, but they're all over Metro Detroit. It would be pretty cool to have those in game in cities and state...

Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next

I agree with Flight that we'll see state bundles eventually, if only because ATS is going to see 3-4 dedicated teams. They're not going to go for 4 DLC releases every year. That would be such a mess, especially when it comes to testing. We'll probably see two releases a year still, just with two tea...

Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next

So at the very least, I think it's safe to say that for 2021-22, we'll see Wyoming, Montana, Texas and Oklahoma as the four states, either in that order or with the middle two switched. After that though, it's a whole lot less clear-cut. I'd guess that by 2023 they'll be able to crank out 3 states a...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

I've been working on a Colorado concept road map in my free time, and man, is it getting me excited for the state. It's going to be such a diverse state to drive through. Mountains, plateaus, desert, high plains, big cities, small towns and everything in between. It's going to be great. Like, look h...

Re: Wyoming Discussion Thread

Yeah, I'd be surprised if they didn't continue I-90 past Gillette, just to include a scenery route up to Devil's Tower. It's past any city that would be included in the game, but it needs to be there.

Re: Idaho Discussion Thread

For me, I just wanted to see the road map. I'm more interested in the scenery and locations I stumble upon while driving, so I like to keep that as much a surprise as possible. I'm not going to watch any gameplay or search out anything until Thursday comes. I'm fine seeing the map though, as it does...

Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next

I think it's somewhat likely we see the Gordie Howe Bridge, especially if they keep to their finish year of 2024. I don't think we'll see Michigan until maybe 2027-28 at the earliest. I hope though, that if we can only cross one bridge, its the Ambassador Bridge, with the other as scenery.

Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next

Believe me, as a Detroiter, I'm very excited for Michigan too. :D I think 16 would be the maximum, but 13-14 (aka the ones you listed) is the most likely. The other two I had in mind is Ludington for the Badger, and an additional small town in the UP. Neither are essential, but I think there could b...

Re: Idaho Discussion Thread

Yeah, Idaho was kinda cursed from the beginning by it's layout. The map is about what I expected, and I'll still enjoy it, but it definitely needs Montana to really shine.

At least Colorado won't suffer from the same fate.

Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next

Yeah, I'd agree with Flight about Michigan. It would be perfectly fine releasing by itself. You can fairly comfortably fit 12-16 cities in the state without it feeling too cramped, and it has more potential for non-interstate travel (outside southeast Michigan) than any other state east or south of ...
