Re: ATS 1.39 Open Beta Discussion

Do 57 foot trailers even exist because I've never seen them before They do. As I've mentioned in a few other threads, I work for a company that moves product at the Procter & Gamble plant in town. We use 57' three axle rollerbeds to run product from the plant down our access road to the distributio...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

Darwing and Kenworth should not have reefer trailers. I agree with this, but based on game mechanics and how dry vans, insulated, and reefers all use the same "platform" (like flatbed and sliding tarp), could that be why the skin applies to all box trailer types? I'm not entirely sure how trailer s...

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread

@flight50 is correct. Day cabs actually get more miles put on them than otr trucks. Especially when there is 2 drivers assigned to one truck such as a day shift and night shift such as hauling petroleum. I can agree, because working 12 hour night shifts picking up product for the P&G plant, I've do...

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread

Haven't checked out the stream yet since I was getting my hair cut lol but I love the look of the truck! I too am sad there are no sleepers yet but am looking forward to the day they get added (also hoping for an 8x4 chassis in the future) Good job SCS on getting this truck finished in such a short ...

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread

I just started thinking about something...remember how the NEXT was supposed to be revealed this summer instead of now at the end of September? I wonder if SCS would have had the truck model ready for a release back then or if this additional time has allowed them to add it soon after this release

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread

Fair point, flight. And if the WS does bring 8x4 (which I'm really hoping it does), maybe that will show other brands that this is a nice addition to the game and they'll want to add it to their trucks (W900, 389, T880).

Re: Western Star Trucks Discussion Thread

Finally getting to catch up on the forums since working 12 hour nights messes with your schedule so much! That, and when I have days off, I tend to be lazy for so long before convincing myself to get up and moving lol As I've seen mentioned (probably by flight50 ), I feel that SCS is and has been fi...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

I knew I forgot to explain one. That is in Steamboat Springs like the blog says, specifically on Mt. Werner Circle. Since you also posted the google maps location of that area, I do recognize that now! I think we took that road quite often because we stayed in one of the condo units right on the sk...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

First, were there some pictures that were deleted? because i only see 18, not 20 like some of you are talking about. Second, I think pic 4 is some road in town, or should I say closer to the ski resort, and pic 5 is US-40/Lincoln Ave and Seventh St facing east. I can remember seeing those buildings ...

Re: Volvo Trucks Discussion Thread

I agree on 3 different cabs for simplicity on SCS' part: day cab, mid roof, high roof In terms of these new volvo trucks, I'll say VNL: 300, 740, 760/860 VNR: 300, 640, 660 VNX: 300, 400, 740. Personally, I'm not too fond of flat roof sleepers, but the 400 would be the middle sleeper and third optio...
