Re: Nebraska Discussion Thread

I thought Idaho and Montana were “less interesting”. I think people will find Nebraska is way more scenic and beautiful away from 80. Most of Idaho looks pretty awful if you’re only on the interstates

That’s my read on it too. I’m thinking Montana for the summer and then Texas near the end of the year.

True. Its tight though. About 27 miles between the two. I'd push Cedar Rapids North. I always like to go by needing at least 30 miles. Both those like CDA to Spokane which is much larger urban area and then yes Boise to Nampa. Iowa City is all south of 80, and I don’t think anyone would mind seeing...

Re: ATS Appreciation

Scenery changes in states but when changing states they give great and unique taste for each state and I'm amazed. Vegetation, geography, landscape, roads, cities everything was so different and beautiful ...

Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say Wyoming in late Q2 and Texas in Q4 2021. Obviously Texas is massive but it's about the size of Iberia. If there's been a pretty large map team going at Texas for a while, then seeing it a little under a year from now seems fairly doable. Beyond that, obviously Mo...

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread

While traveling several years back I came across a wind turbine blade standing on end Located in a rest stop along I-80 between Casey, IA and Adair, IA for visitors to see. It was an interesting experience standing next to it and taking note to how truly big they are. I add it here for scale refere...
