Re: New truck GMC Astro
Now if you can have this beautiful thing to be on Steam for free, that would be grand!

Elevators and escalator delivery jobs
Now somehow, I was going to mention this as a new delivery item. It may be complicated as well. This is because for an escalator, you have the main frame of the escalator, and for the handrail and glass balustrade, you would really need two different trucks to deliver the entire escalator. The flatb...

Re: Illinois Discussion Thread
I googled and found out that Alton may be added to the Illinois DLC. But what I see from Missouri, only access would be from St. Louis, Cape Girardeau, and south of Davenport. So that means, there might be some stuff the team might have to add to Missouri to generate the connection. The McKinley Bri...

Re: Iowa Discussion Thread
I know that Walcott will be in the game because of the great big truck stop. But the truck stop is almost like a city within a city. We could in a way have this to be the first deliverable truck stop in the history of SCS. Because since we do have a sanitation tank trailer and I have seen those sani...

Re: ‘Classic Truck Pack’ in American Truck Simulator
Matchbox used to model several European cars, trucks, and buses. The AEC Freightline was a truck that ran in the UK and Matchbox made a city that called for driving on the right hand side of the road like here in the US. Playschool modeled a wooden Corbit Tall Boy truck. The International Sightliner...

Re: Missouri Discussion Thread
I am not sure why didn't they have US 65 go up to US 36. Now US 136 would be dangerously close to the MO/IA border scale wise. but I think SCS would been ok with pushing at least US 65 into Chillicothe.

Re: ‘Classic Truck Pack’ in American Truck Simulator
I found this and thought that this is what SCS really needs. I am happy that there are some who grew up in the era when the trucks that are mentioned here ran in regular service. The Mack F700 and the Mack R model were really developed in the 1960s. And they had two dashboards. Prior to 1973, you ha...

Re: Iowa Discussion Thread
Now I think what might happen since I mentioned the office furniture factory, just by looking at what I saw for the St. Louis businesses how some really ended up in Fenton or Mehlville like what we see on Google, I think what they might look at the office furniture factory which is HON and count it ...

Re: Illinois Discussion Thread
In Quincy, there is a trucking company/truck leasing and rental company called Gully Transportation. They are still in business and they are a corporate member of the American Truck Historical Society. They have or at least had quite a few Freightliner FLDs and Freightliner Powerliners.

Re: Older trucks for the game may be a must
Something tells me that when the Missouri DLC was just in the planning stages, that was the time to mention in the Public Research section of this forum. I am so guilty of not thinking of a "Nostalgia" element back then. The trouble is for something like that is for SCS to find out which A...
