So I took some time today and tried this mod. It's pretty nice, in my opinion, with more reflection during heavy rain. I wish the reflection could adapt more depending on rain intensity, but I doubt it is possible at the moment. Overall, it's a great mod.

To see all the regions from map mods, you need a background map mod, search North America map background from DOWL or Cairam. Mod downloading from Steam Workshop is always free, you just need to subscribe and it will automatically download, MLH82 has been saying his map mod is only in Truckymods

There are only few places to download ATS/ETS 2 mods that are verified, including: Steam Workshop SCS Forum Truckymods Official website from the original author (like Reforma or Promods) If you are looking for mods then search from those places only as they are original source of many popular mods. ...

You didn't mention having Real Companies Extended actived in your original post. It is a map mod and is known for being incompatible with any map combo, try deactivating it as well.
