Re: [WIP] Paris 1:1 Map
Holy moly, that's impressive! I saw the title including WIP and 1:1 map, and assumed it would be yet another one of those one stretch of road, "here's [insert massive city of your choice], 1:1 is the only way to go, see you in ten years" only to never be heard from again kind of threads. B...

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
STDS does not have VR support like ETS2/ATS, no.
It was a very fun little game though, like Truck and Trailers before it. Would be very interesting in VR indeed.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Getting back into trucksim and VR. What is the current way to disable the automatic movement out of the side window when you look left? All I can find from earlier is to set uset g_hmd_no_artifical_movement "0" to "1", but that doesn't make any difference. Edit: Aaaaand of course...

Re: Indicator Hold Toggle
Yes, this is suggested regularly, and would be an incredibly important feature for any cockpit setups. This is not only relevant for indicators, though, it is relevant for almost every single function in the game, as most features are controlled by toggle buttons in real life trucks. Hope to see an ...

Re: 6x2/4 question
Oh yes, of course. For a rigid truck, steerable tag is definitely a thing. Also, you will rarely see a rigid with midlift (I have never seen one), as the turning circle would be a problem. I assume the trucks you mention as doing farm deliveries and forestry are rigid trucks? A semi tractor will hav...

Re: ai truck on the highway
If you wish I could search for official driving rules on countries that publish them on French, Portuguese or English and see if it's still true. To have a better picture. Yes, that's exactly what I am looking for :) . I am not saying that what you say is not the case, I don't know, and those who h...

Re: Ekeri Tandem trailers ADDON by Kast(05.01.19)
In Sweden truck height is not regulated by law but they still commonly use 4.5 meters as the max so that they can clear the bridges. ;) Same in Norway, there are no legal restrictions to height, so if you are able to load your truck safely at 10 metres high, you are free to do so. However, overhead...

Re: ETS2 teasers - consult your doctor before entering
It looks like a beatiful and challenging route, but are semi trucks allowed on that route? On roads like that in the US, they have stricter weight and length restrictions to prevent trucks from using the route. If my Google Map skills do me right, my guess is that this is the E65 from Kolašin / Кол...

This forum is not for the authorities as such, but for the volunteering translaters, so they can go back and fix the translations. I don't know who translates cyrillic Serbian, or if they are active, but you can volunteer as a translater yourself if you feel that the translation is stagnating or dec...

Re: ai truck on the highway
@bobgrey1997, I don't know about EEUU regulations, but in most European countries it's forbidden for heavy vehicles to drive on the left lane when more than 2 lanes are available (and on 2 lane roads, only when overtaking). I've seen this mentioned before, but that time, no source were possible to ...
