Re: Can't fint the last 0,01% of the map
Lots of places are difficult to find. Make sure you've been to all companies, hotels, employment centres, truck shops/repairshops in all cities. Also zoom in on your map. Some of the 'hard-to-find' pieces of road are hidden under road number signs. E.g. it can be hidden under a blue sign saying 'A2'...

Re: cargo
Well. Maybe not every day, but as often as they finish a wing and ship it to be put on a wind mill :) Sure they would go bankrupt very soon if they didn't ship their wings quite frequently.I haven't been able to find any actual numbers, but as one of the factories have about 1.500 employees, I'm sur...

Re: How have you started your company?
Not quite Clintel. If you damage your truck during a quick job, you don't pay any damages and nothing is deducted from your pay. It's only damage to the cargo that gets deducted from your payout. Really it doesn't matter much how you run your company if you're playing on normal economy. If you selec...

Re: cargo
Hmmm. If our manufacturers of wind mills and their wings should hit the news every time they had to transport anything, the news would be very tiresome indeed. And the printed newspapers very, very thick. Only when they turn over and block traffic completely do they hit the news. Just because you gu...

Hehe.
A nice for you Bill : Why is it in the English language people recite at a play and play at a recital?
And one for the Truck simmers in general : Why is it that in English you ship by truck and send cargo by ship?
Regards,
BHS

Re: Multiuser computer & Steam
Well SiSL. It's been said on the forum that if you have the CD or download version, you can use your license key to activate the game on Steam too. So maybe it works the other way as well? If it does, you can download the game from SCS and then install it on your wife's account (so the profile(s) wi...

Re: Just curious ... what is the maximum money value?
Sure Bill. But Cobol on the mainframe preceeds 'the venerable C language' by many years, and there you direct the compiler to use comma as a decimal separator if you so wish. Ofc the point is the standard decimal separator in Cobol and in other programming languages. But the possibility to change it...

Re: Just curious ... what is the maximum money value?
I wonder why Microsoft makes such an effort to include all sorts of country settings in Windows when we all HAVE to behave like Americans according to Cadde. I also wonder why a programming language like Cobol (yes - long since dead - but still very much alive) has this command : DECIMAL POINT IS CO...
