Those green icons are for one of the achievements for Idaho and if you activate them you'll see a cutscene of the surroundings like the ones used for ETS2 Genoa bridge event and the ferry crossing in RttBS.

Do you have a folder named "profiles(1.xx.x.xs).bak in ~Documents/American Truck Simulator folder? Do you have any files inside the ~Documents/American Truck Simulator/profiles/<profile id> folder?
