Companies may not care about top speed, but we as gamers might care about top speed. I also would like to know how the top speed is calculated. I guess it has to do with things like weight, drag, aerodynamics, number of wheels, torque(?), max rpm, differential and gear ratios.

I don't know about the Appalachians: remember the ATS version of the White Bird Hill Summit? So yeah, there will be climbs and descents in the Appalachians, but I guess it won't be very special.

I prefer ATS above ETS2 . About the landscape: the west of the US is famous for its landscape. So ofcourse ATS is beautiful. But what about the rest of the US?
