Re: ETS2 1.40 speculation thread

People mostly expects that Iberia comes with at least the Iveco factory near Madrid thus the possibility to load Iveco cargoes like we already do with Volvo and Scania. So far we had got only a "placeholder" in Suzzara with the name of CoMoTo. For the other companies they should include the factorie...

Re: Will my PC be able to run upcoming version 1.40?

1.40 is a lighting overhaul, not a graphics overhaul, there wont be much new bling bling that stresses GPU or CPU Light calculations are the heaviest part, with great difference, of any modern 3D scene xXCARL1992Xx. Maybe the CPU could not suffer so much more but the GPU will notice the changes for...

Re: Will my PC be able to run upcoming version 1.40?

The key point would be the range of options to tune up or down things we will have. If enough new glimmering tricks and traits could be disabled there could be a setup for the low end PCs. But probably if we would to activate some things with the ones we play actually the performance could be worse ...

Re: ETS2 1.40 speculation thread

So far, with the bits of info we saw, it seems that AI vehicles headlights will be way more visible that are now. But I didn't noticed if they cast shadows or not. I hope they did, and probably they will be controlled by the configs about shadows. Lower values on that config probably would make thos...

Re: Wishlists Megathread

A way to take "Freight Market", "External Market", and "External Contract" jobs with owned trailers If I'm right, the three off-line markets and the two online markets share the same jobs. I mean, that you can go to "Quick Jobs" market to chose an X cargo from A to B. The same job will be available...

Re: Abandonment of Scania R (Older Gen)

If they want to they would find and allocate resources and people to do it. Do you and mackintosh both understand you are saying exactly the same? Yes, to decide to rework the old trucks is a question of priorities. Yes, it's a question of manpower. Because they had to prioritize the manpower avail...

Re: [FORUM POLL] Image Quoting Rules

What you say is what lots of people common sense would point (and the reason why supersobes says they are looking for changes on that rule). But so far, what Mohegan13 said you is as the rule exist actually in this forum.

Re: REKT!! You're Doing it Wrong.

Oh OK, thanks for the info. I knew about the pipes under but I always thought the main problem was the railroad over; both due the bridge and because rail tracks need a lot of space to do the ramp up /ramp down as their slopes had to be gentle. But now that you mention, it's true the bridge seems a ...
