Re: Discussion about the lack of some main routes in the base map
When the poll said A6, I thought you meant the A6 in England! That would be a great road to have if we had some of the locations along it included in a revamped UK map (Carnforth, Kendal, Preston, Chorley)- we already have Carlisle at its northern end, so why not? It almost parallels the M6, so woul...

Re: Poll: which map expansion do you think is the best?
First one, on a mountain road just south of Pleven that suddenly got a lot tighter despite still having a 90km/h limit. The corner was banked the wrong way so my approach at about 75km/h caused the truck (with some heavy machinery on a trailer) to fall over. 49% truck damage, 20% on the trailer, 10%...

Re: AI and basic traffic rules..
I think there are mods which change how they drive. Can't remember any names but they'll be in the Steam Workshop. I agree, though, they do need to revise the AI. I can believe drivers in places like Germany or Norway being that considerate when it comes to letting you pull across their path, but tr...

Re: Poll: which map expansion do you think is the best?
The reason I didn't vote for Road to the Black Sea is because, although it's got some of the best scenery in the game, there's always something that goes wrong when I go down there- I've lost two trucks to Bulgaria already. And the constant weighing stations in Istanbul might be realistic, but they'...

Re: Your longest ETS2 delivery
Update: my longest (and definitely among the most difficult) journey, I just completed it, was taking a curtainsider full of roof tiles from Trelleborg to Istanbul. Here are the numbers- -1679 miles -£75,000 reward -5% tyre wear by journey's end -3 minor accidents caused by idiot AIs (only amounted ...

Re: Why no penalty for this? - accident avoidance
The penalty for bypassing a roadblock comes when you realise why the road was blocked Nahh I have always been able to pass the accident site in case I didn't like the detour If you are on WOT contracts autosaves won't help you :D Sometimes that is the case, if it is just a burnt-out car, or a detac...

Re: No more drivers to hire!!
How many drivers are there? I haven't even found every recruitment agency yet, but I have about 20 drivers currently and it seems like there are still an infinite number left.

Never thought of that. Then again, I prefer to take jobs in one hit.

Re: How can drivers lose money on jobs?
I thought repairs were only taken into account when they return to the garage. It would make sense, though, and it would explain how it's possible for another of my drivers to have once brought in £87 on a job. Thanks, guys!
