That rectangular reflex is mounted this way in real life too. Maybe they have a deal with the company that makes the reflex - if we (Krone) get the reflex cheap we'll mount them in such a a bad place as you will sell gazillions of replacements later :P They actually have different ways to mount tha...

Oh yes, it should be mounted down on the actual bumper as a round reflector with adhesive
