Re: Arkansas Discussion Thread
Each state has more to showcase to meet the eye for sure and that is the great thing about what SCS does even at 1:20 scale. They bring enough vibe to do just enough justice. The level of detail now compared to 2016 is very interesting to most people. If someone is driving in LA...they want to feel ...

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
Unfortunately the update will affect everyone differently. That's where ironing out everything comes into play to get it stable for all.

Re: Base Map Rebuild (CA, NV, AZ) General Discussion Thread
Don't sleep on lA and LA though. They might be smaller but they should be pretty packed with content. There is one issue that some Western states suffered and that's 1-2 fewer bodies than what should have happened. That results in missing roads or missing cities in most cases. I still think LA and I...

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
As long as rain doesn't get in the engine bay and water log it...all is good. I agree its not immersion breaking for me either. I've seen people not phased at all in light rain conditions. A down pour (which ATS doesn't have), not many will have open tops anyways. It pays to watch the forecast.

Re: Base Map Rebuild (CA, NV, AZ) General Discussion Thread
Nevada can easily be done in 1 phase but it would take 9-12 months to do. But if we got it in phases, we can get I-80, US-50 and everything North of it in perhaps 4-6 months. I-80 is critical now with newer I-80 dlcs on the menu. Getting phase 1 asap would be the preference of most so that we can fi...

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
^^That wouldn't work. If we are side by side with the AI for 100 miles when its clear and sunny and come mile 30-35 its starts raining, that Ai can't just disappear. Its still gonna have open tops somewhere. Not worth trying to make it perfect imho. They are better off programming those cars to clos...

Re: Base Map Rebuild (CA, NV, AZ) General Discussion Thread
@harishw8r yep that is what I been saying as well. No need to take from rebuilds anymore post Texas. Let them be. The maps are too small and back to Colorado type size or smaller. SCS move to their new place now lets them expand. Another 5-10 mappers and that should really start pushing the map. Aft...

Re: ATS 1.50 Update Experimental Beta Discussion
I doubt they forgot about Mac. The vast majority use Windiws so they'll get that going first before anything else. Unless the change log says Mac support added, no point of continuing to report its not added. It always takes a minute for the drastic updates to hit other OS systems including VR.

Re: Arkansas Discussion Thread
Nice to hear a day one by. As a former Arkansas resident, I am most curious about the central Arkansas area. How will SCS put it together. Most of my family still live there so I still somewhat know a few areas by heart. So much has changed since I left in 97 though. But it will be interesting for m...

Re: Nebraska Discussion Thread
Agreed. EB is going much smoother than I anticipated though. Open beta itself could kick in whenever and from there, the clock really starts ticking towards the Nebraska release. We'll be in beta for sure the remainder of April though. I don't see Nebraska going beyond June by any means. I've always...
